Early Life and Education
Trisha Paytas was born in Riverside, California, and moved to Freeport, Illinois, at age three following her parents' divorce. She has two siblings: an older brother and a younger maternal half-sister, Kalli Metz. At 15, she returned to California to live with her father and enrolled in a Catholic online school program. A year later, she moved back to Illinois to live with her mother and attended high school in Pecatonica, Illinois.
Career
Early Career (2006–2012)
After moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting, Paytas worked as a professional lingerie model and stripper to support herself. She appeared on several television shows, including The Greg Behrendt Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Who Wants to Be a Superhero?. In 2007, she launched her YouTube channel, blndsundoll4mj, initially dedicated to director Quentin Tarantino. Over time, her content expanded to include fashion, beauty, and relationship advice.
Music and Online Success (2013–2017)
Between 2013 and 2017, Paytas gained attention for her trolling videos and mukbang sessions. In 2015, her song "Fat Chicks" was featured on websites like Cosmopolitan and The Huffington Post. Her 2016 EP Daddy Issues debuted at number 25 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers albums chart. In 2017, she participated in Celebrity Big Brother UK but left the show after 11 days.
Podcasting and Recent Ventures (2018–Present)
In 2020, Paytas co-hosted the podcast Frenemies with Ethan Klein, which ended in 2021. In July 2023, she launched her own podcast, Just Trish, co-hosted by Oscar Gracey.
